I. Kiến thức liên quan

II. Bài mẫu IELTS Speaking Part 1 chủ đề museums

Do you often visit museums?
I would say I seldom (hiếm khi – not often, rarely, infrequently) go to museums because my schedule is usually packed with university assignments. However, whenever I have a bit of spare time, I try to immerse myself (đắm mình – become deeply involved in an activity, engage fully) in historical displays to broaden my horizon. For instance, last summer I managed to spend an afternoon at the National History Museum.

When was the last time you visited a museum?
The most recent visit was about six months ago, when I joined a guided tour (chuyến tham quan có hướng dẫn – an organized visit with a guide leading and explaining) organized by my faculty. I found it quite engaging as the curator used stories to bring history to life (làm cho lịch sử sống động – make something vivid and realistic). One memorable example was the section on ancient pottery where we could touch replicas.

What did you learn from visiting museums and art galleries?
Through those visits, I have gained cultural literacy (kiến thức văn hoá – the ability to understand and appreciate cultural references and works), which is essential for any well-rounded student. They allowed me to grasp (nắm bắt – to understand something clearly) how art reflects social changes over time. For example, I understood how impressionist paintings mirrored industrialization in Europe.>> tham khảo CẦN VIẾT & THU ÂM BAO NHIÊU BÀI ĐỂ ĐẠT 8.0 SPEAKING & 7.0 WRITING?

Do you think museums are important?
Absolutely, they are indispensable (không thể thiếu – absolutely necessary, essential) in preserving national identity and collective memory. Moreover, they act as an educational hub (trung tâm giáo dục – a place that provides learning opportunities) for students of all ages. Without them, younger generations might lose their connection to heritage.

Are there many museums in your hometown?
Yes, my hometown has a modest number (số lượng khiêm tốn – not very large) of museums, mostly focusing on regional history and traditional crafts. Although they are not as state-of-the-art (hiện đại – using the latest technology or design) as those in metropolitan cities, they still play a crucial role in community education. For instance, the local weaving museum attracts both domestic and foreign visitors.

Do you like visiting museums and art galleries?
Yes, I do, because such places give me a refreshing escape (chuyến thoát ly mới mẻ – an enjoyable break from routine) from daily stress. I often soak up (hấp thụ – to absorb or take in fully) the atmosphere of creativity and history when walking through galleries. For example, the art museum in my city always lifts my spirits.
