Where it is + When you visited this place
I would like to share with you a situation when I visited a famous tourist destination but was disappointed to see plastic waste there.
(IELTS TUTOR gợi ý cách diễn đạt khác: I’d like to share with you a time I saw plastic waste piling up on a beach)
…. This is a world-renowned tourist attraction point where people often go for vacations and water sports.
What kinds of pollution you saw there
We felt terrible as there was loads of litter here and there especially when we approached the river where the water sports activities had been done.
And explain how this place was affected
Main idea 1: The main reason for this problem is many tourists visit this place every day and often carry packed food and water bottles and dump these things carelessly.
Supporting idea: I never imagined the beach on the paradisiacal island should feature not shells, but rather, plastic trash.
Main idea 2: The second main reason I got to know from the local is that there are no plastic recycling plants nearby, so it is a big issue how to dump all the litter.
Supporting idea: Although it is a popular tourist place, I was shocked to see there was no rule and regulation in terms of the cleaning process.
IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:
I'd like to recount a recent visit to a renowned tourist destination that left me disheartened due to the extensive presence of plastic waste. The place I'm referring to is a globally acclaimed spot frequented by vacationers and water sports enthusiasts.
It was during a trip last summer that I had the opportunity to visit this location. The moment we arrived, I was immediately struck by the sheer beauty of the surroundings. However, as we ventured closer to the river where water activities took place, my initial awe quickly turned to disappointment.
The types of pollution we encountered ranged from plastic bags and bottles to various other discarded items. It was disheartening to witness such negligence towards the environment in a place that should have been a haven of natural beauty.>> IELTS TUTOR có hướng dẫn kĩ PHÂN TÍCH ĐỀ THI THẬT TASK 2 (dạng advantages & disadvantages) NGÀY 04/8/2020 IELTS WRITING GENERAL MÁY TÍNH (kèm bài được sửa hs đi thi)
Upon further inquiry, I learned about the underlying causes contributing to this environmental degradation. Firstly, the influx of tourists who visit this destination daily is a major factor. Many of these visitors come prepared with packed food and water bottles, which they often dispose of carelessly, exacerbating the pollution problem.
Moreover, it became apparent that the lack of nearby recycling facilities compounded the issue. Without proper infrastructure in place for waste management, the accumulation of plastic waste becomes an insurmountable challenge.
IV. Part 3.
1. Identify the most common types of pollution where you live
One of the most widespread issues is air contamination (air contamination – English: polluted air; Vietnamese: ô nhiễm không khí) due to the relentless use of fossil fuels for transportation, especially during peak-hour traffic (peak-hour traffic – English: rush-hour congestion; Vietnamese: giờ cao điểm đông đúc), which chokes the streets of major cities.
Another common problem is plastic waste (plastic waste – English: discarded plastic materials; Vietnamese: rác thải nhựa) that clogs rivers and drainage systems, leading to frequent flooding during monsoon seasons.
2. Speculate on whether there will be more or less pollution and rubbish in the future
There might be an upward trajectory (an upward trajectory – English: increasing trend; Vietnamese: xu hướng tăng lên) in pollution levels if consumerism keeps growing unchecked, as people continue to buy single-use products (single-use products – English: disposable items used once; Vietnamese: sản phẩm dùng một lần), contributing to landfills.
However, with the increasing popularity of eco-conscious lifestyles (eco-conscious lifestyles – English: environmentally aware habits; Vietnamese: lối sống thân thiện với môi trường), younger generations may reverse this trend by adopting sustainable consumption habits.>> tham khảo CẦN VIẾT & THU ÂM BAO NHIÊU BÀI ĐỂ ĐẠT 8.0 SPEAKING & 7.0 WRITING?
3. Consider whether there is more pollution and rubbish today than in the past
Nowadays, pollution has become more pervasive (pervasive – English: spreading widely; Vietnamese: lan rộng) than ever before, largely due to urbanization and overpopulation, which weren’t as pronounced a few decades ago.
In contrast, the past saw fewer industrial emissions (industrial emissions – English: gases or waste from factories; Vietnamese: khí thải công nghiệp) because most communities lived in self-sufficient rural settings, relying more on natural resources than mass production.
