Today, I would like to tell you about a place that I have visited and would strongly recommend as a wonderful place to live, which is Da Nang, the largest city in central Vietnam.
I visited this city last year during my summer vacation after one of my university teachers, who is originally from Da Nang, highly recommended it to me. Before the trip, I had heard that Da Nang was one of Vietnam’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors every year, but I did not expect to be so impressed by it.
When I was there, I felt incredibly comfortable and surprisingly connected to the city. In fact, it was one of the few places where I immediately felt a sense of belonging.

Another reason is the local people. I was genuinely impressed by their courteous demeanor (thái độ lịch sự, nhã nhặn – polite and respectful behavior) and their strong respect for personal boundaries. They are incredibly friendly and approachable, but at the same time they are considerate of personal space (tôn trọng không gian riêng tư – showing awareness of and respect for others' privacy). This is quite the contrary to some densely populated cities where people can sometimes be overly curious and tend to interfere in other people's affairs. For instance, whenever I asked for directions, locals were more than willing to help, yet they never made me feel uncomfortable or intrusive. This combination of friendliness and mutual respect created a highly community-oriented environment (môi trường đề cao tính cộng đồng – a place where people care about one another while respecting individual freedom), which I found extremely appealing.
Overall, Da Nang left a lasting impression on me because of its balanced lifestyle and welcoming residents. If I ever had the opportunity to relocate, it would undoubtedly be at the top of my list.
