Today, I would like to tell you about a time when my best friend persuaded (thuyết phục) me to learn IELTS as a stepping stone to study abroad, and looking back, I am incredibly grateful for her relentless encouragement (sự khuyến khích không ngừng nghỉ). At first, I was quite reluctant (lưỡng lự, do dự) because I believed that achieving a high score in IELTS was an uphill battle (một nhiệm vụ khó khăn). However, she managed to convince (thuyết phục) me by sharing countless success stories (câu chuyện thành công) of people who had broadened their horizons through studying overseas.

Her words planted a seed of motivation in me, and I gradually started to immerse myself (đắm mình vào) in English learning. We created a study timetable (thời gian biểu học tập), practiced speaking together, and even joined online IELTS mock tests. She also introduced me to various self-study materials (tài liệu tự học) that were extremely beneficial. Over time, I began to see significant improvements in my skills, which further boosted my confidence.

Reflecting on that experience, I am incredibly thankful for her relentless encouragement and support. Without her, I would not have had the courage to take the first step. Thanks to her, I now see IELTS not only as an exam but as a gateway to countless opportunities.
