III. Phân tích

Today, I would like to tell you about my younger brother, who is someone I know very well and who has always had a strong interest in the medical field.

I’ve known him my entire life, of course, as we grew up together and have always been quite close.

He graduated from medical school in July, and he is going to work as a doctor in the Interventional Cardiology Department of Da Nang General Hospital.

He actually started thinking seriously about this career when he was a teenager, although his interest in medicine had already been taking shape (dần hình thành – gradually developing or becoming clearer) for several years. At first, he was simply fascinated by how the human body works, but as he got older, he became particularly interested in the heart and cardiovascular diseases. Eventually, this early interest (sự quan tâm ban đầu – an initial curiosity or enthusiasm) turned into a clear career goal, and he decided to pursue medicine at university.

There are two main reasons why he wants to choose this career. The first is that he genuinely wants to make a tangible difference (tạo ra sự thay đổi rõ rệt – to have a real and noticeable positive impact) in people’s lives. Being a doctor, especially in interventional cardiology, means dealing with patients who may be in extremely serious or even life-threatening conditions. He finds the idea of being able to restore someone’s quality of life (khôi phục chất lượng cuộc sống – help someone return to a healthier and more normal life) incredibly meaningful. For instance, by using minimally invasive procedures to treat serious heart problems, he could potentially save a patient’s life or help them recover much faster than they otherwise might. I think that sense of professional fulfilment (sự thỏa mãn trong nghề nghiệp – a strong feeling of satisfaction from meaningful work) is one of the biggest driving forces behind his decision.

The second reason is that he is attracted to the intellectually demanding and fast-paced nature of the profession. Interventional cardiology requires doctors to have cutting-edge medical knowledge (kiến thức y khoa tiên tiến – the most modern and advanced medical knowledge), precision-based skills (kỹ năng đòi hỏi độ chính xác cao – skills that require extreme accuracy), and the ability to remain calm under pressure. My brother enjoys solving complicated problems and thinking on his feet (ứng biến nhanh – making good decisions quickly in an unexpected situation), so he feels that this specialty suits his personality particularly well. For example, when dealing with a critically ill patient, an interventional cardiologist may have to make split-second decisions (quyết định trong tích tắc – decisions made extremely quickly) while maintaining absolute concentration. Although it is undoubtedly a high-pressure career, he sees these challenges as opportunities to grow professionally and push the boundaries of his capabilities (vượt qua giới hạn năng lực – develop abilities beyond one’s current limits).>> 🔥 Nhắn zalo 0905834420 join group zalo Hóng đề thi máy 4 skills để cập nhật đề thi thật 4 kĩ năng hằng ngày [Kèm giải & đề làm online]

Overall, I really admire my brother for choosing such a demanding but rewarding career. It requires years of training, lifelong learning, and a tremendous amount of responsibility, but I believe he has both the dedication and the resilience (sự bền bỉ – the ability to recover and continue despite difficulties) needed to become an excellent doctor.

IV. Part 3

1. Do you think doctors and nurses are very important?

Yes, doctors and nurses are incredibly important. They are the backbone of healthcare, providing critical support to individuals in need. Doctors play a pivotal role in diagnosing illnesses and prescribing treatments. Nurses, on the other hand, ensure that patients receive continuous care and emotional support. For example, a doctor may diagnose a patient with diabetes, while a nurse monitors their blood sugar levels and educates them on lifestyle changes. Both professions work together to deliver comprehensive care. Without them, public health systems would collapse. Their dedication ensures that societies remain healthy and functional.

2. Who is more important, doctors or nurses?

Both doctors and nurses are equally important, as their roles complement each other in healthcare. Doctors specialize in diagnosing conditions and designing effective treatment plans. Nurses, however, are crucial in implementing these plans and providing ongoing care. For instance, while a surgeon performs a critical operation, nurses handle preoperative preparations and postoperative recovery. Additionally, nurses offer emotional support, which helps patients cope with their conditions. Without their collaboration, patient outcomes would significantly decline. The healthcare system thrives when both professions work in harmony.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

3. Do you think that doctors and nurses are not paid enough?

In many cases, doctors and nurses are not adequately compensated for their work. Both professions often endure long hours and high-stress environments. Doctors typically earn higher salaries, but the financial reward does not always reflect their years of rigorous training and immense responsibility. Meanwhile, nurses, despite being the primary caregivers, often face wage disparities. For example, a nurse might work overtime to manage a busy ward, yet their pay may not match the workload. Fair compensation is crucial to acknowledge their contributions and encourage more people to join these professions.

4. Do you think it is necessary to learn first aid skills?

Yes, learning first aid skills is essential for everyone. First aid knowledge allows individuals to provide immediate help in emergencies, potentially saving lives before professionals arrive. For example, performing CPR can stabilize a person experiencing cardiac arrest. Additionally, first aid skills are valuable for handling minor injuries like cuts or burns, preventing them from worsening. In workplaces or schools, trained individuals can respond promptly to accidents, ensuring safety. Overall, first aid training empowers people to act confidently in critical situations, which can make a significant difference.
