Today, I would like to tell you about my former science teacher, Mr. Minh, who I genuinely believe is the most creative person I have ever come across (tình cờ gặp / tiếp xúc – to meet or experience someone unexpectedly).
I got to know him during my secondary school years, and I still consider myself extremely fortunate to have been taught by him. Unlike conventional teachers who simply deliver lessons (truyền đạt bài học – to present subject content to students), Mr. Minh adopted a learner-centered approach (phương pháp lấy người học làm trung tâm – a teaching style that prioritizes students’ active participation). From day one, he made science feel alive rather than abstract or intimidating.
What truly set him apart was his hands-on teaching philosophy (triết lý dạy học thực hành – belief in learning by doing). Instead of asking us to merely memorize formulas (chỉ đơn thuần ghi nhớ – only remember without understanding), he constantly organized lab-based experiments (thí nghiệm trong phòng lab – scientific tests conducted in laboratories). For instance, when we studied electricity, he guided us to build simple circuits using everyday materials, which made complex theories far more digestible (dễ hiểu – easy to understand).
In addition, he was a strong advocate of experiential learning (học tập trải nghiệm – learning through direct experience). He even persuaded the school management to organize educational excursions (chuyến đi học tập – school trips with learning purposes) to science museums and research centers. These trips injected a fun-filled dimension (yếu tố vui nhộn – enjoyable element) into education and helped us connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications (ứng dụng thực tế – practical use in daily life).>> 🔥 Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR
Another reason why I admire him so much is his problem-solving mindset (tư duy giải quyết vấn đề – ability to find solutions creatively). Whenever the school faced technical issues, such as setting up projectors or repairing lab equipment, he always came up with cost-effective solutions (giải pháp tiết kiệm chi phí – affordable and efficient ways to solve problems). This not only saved money but also inspired students to think outside the box (suy nghĩ vượt khuôn khổ – think creatively beyond limits).
To sum up, Mr. Minh is creative not because he invented something groundbreaking, but because he redefined the learning experience (tái định nghĩa trải nghiệm học tập – changed the way learning is perceived). His innovative mindset (tư duy đổi mới – ability to think in new and original ways) and unwavering passion for education left a lasting impression (ấn tượng lâu dài – something memorable over time) on me. Even today, he remains a role model who shaped the way I think, learn, and approach challenges.
