    • I recently saw these ads while scrolling through my social media feed.
    • It was the middle of the day, and I was on break from work and checking my Facebook page.

Describe an advertisement you don't like

  • What type of advertisement it is
    • Today, I would like to describe an advertisement that I find quite annoying while watching television.
    • It is a TV commercial for a weight loss product.
  • What product or service it advertises
    • The advertisement shows the viewers "before and after" images of people who have used their product and lost a significant amount of weight.
  • And explain why you don’t like it
    • THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY I DETEST THIS AD:
      • FIRSTLY, upon further research on the internet, I was disappointed to find that the product may have detrimental effects on our health in the long term. It could potentially lead to serious health issues such as cancer or cardiovascular problems due to the side effects of the ingredients contained in these supplements. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, there are concerns about the possibility of sudden strokes.
      • SECONDLY, I believe that losing weight requires a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sustainable lifestyle changes. The idea of "quick fixes" for weight loss seems unrealistic and deceptive.>> IELTS  TUTOR  hướng  dẫn PHÂN TÍCH ĐỀ THI 30/5/2020 IELTS WRITING TASK 2 (kèm bài sửa HS đạt 6.5)

IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

Today, I'd like to discuss a television advertisement that really grates on my nerves. It's one of those commercials promoting a weight loss product.

The advertisement showcases dramatic transformations through "before and after" images of individuals who have supposedly shed significant weight using the advertised product.

Now, let me delve into why this ad leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Firstly, after some digging on the internet, I stumbled upon disturbing information suggesting that this product might pose serious risks to our health in the long run. It appears that the ingredients in these supplements could potentially trigger severe health issues like cancer or cardiovascular problems. To compound matters, there are unsettling reports of potential sudden strokes associated with their usage.>> IELTS TUTOR có hướng dẫn kĩ SỬA BÀI IELTS WRITING TASK 2 ĐỀ THI THẬT NGÀY 22/8/2020 của HS IELTS TUTOR đạt 6.5 Writing

Secondly, I firmly believe that sustainable weight loss isn't achieved through quick fixes or miracle products. It necessitates adopting a balanced diet, engaging in regular exercise, and embracing lasting lifestyle changes. The notion propagated by this advertisement of achieving rapid weight loss without addressing fundamental lifestyle factors seems not only unrealistic but also deceitful.

Overall, this advertisement not only promotes potentially harmful products but also perpetuates the myth of effortless weight loss, which I find deeply troubling and unethical.
