Describe a person you know who likes to help others (or, who often helps others).

You should say:

• Who this person is
• How you know them (him or her)
• When you knew or when you first met this person
• Where this person lives
• What kind of person he or she is
• And explain why this person (likes to help) helps others.

• Who this person is

• How you know them (him or her) + When you knew or when you first met this person
  • I have known her all my life, as she is my mother, and she has been practicing medicine for over twenty-five years.
• Where this person lives
  • My mother lives with us in our family home, and she has always been a caring and compassionate person.
• What kind of person he or she is
  • She is very hardworking, dedicated, and loves her job as a doctor.

• And explain why this person (likes to help) helps others.
  • Main idea 1: She genuinely cares about people and their well-being. 
    • Supporting idea: As a doctor, she has a responsibility to her patients, and she takes that responsibility very seriously >> IELTS TUTOR lưu ý Cách dùng danh từ"responsibility"tiếng anh 
    • Example: One day, my mother received a call from one of her patients who had recently given birth. The patient was experiencing some complications and was in a lot of pain. Despite it being late at night, my mother immediately drove to the hospital to check on her patient.
  • Main idea 2:  In her profession, helping others is not just a job for her, but a calling.

    • Example: A few years ago, my mother went on a medical mission to a rural area in a developing country. She spent a few weeks there, providing free medical care and treatment to local residents who had limited access to healthcare.
