II. Cách trả lời"Who behaves better when waiting for children or adults?"

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

  • Usually, adults behave better when waiting than children.
  • Main idea 1: Children often do not understand why they have to wait for something, whereas adults know why they are waiting
    • Supporting idea: Children get restless very easily, and they usually have more energy than adults, so they don’t like when they have to wait for a long time in one spot. >> IELTS TUTOR hướng dẫn Cách dùng từ "so" tiếng anh
    • Example: For example, when a young child is on a long car ride, more often than not, they would lose patience quite easily and start asking “are we there yet” over and over again
  • Main idea 2: Adults can wait more patiently than children because they have more experience and they have better self-control  (IELTS TUTOR gợi ý cách diễn đạt khác: adults have more patience when it comes to waiting because they are more mature and from their past experience they know that some things are worth the wait HOẶC: Children are generally impatient because they have not yet learned the benefits of waiting)
    • Supporting idea:
      • Children want everything with the click of a button and lack patience
      • Children are simply unable to understand what they can gain long-term from waiting.
    • Example:
