II. Bài mẫu IELTS Speaking Part 1 chủ đề Outer Space and Stars
1. Have you ever taken a course about stars?
Yes, I once enrolled in an astronomy crash course (astronomy crash course – khóa học cấp tốc về thiên văn học), which sparked my interest in celestial bodies.
The sessions covered fascinating topics like constellations and black holes, which were completely new to me.
One moment that stood out was when we observed Saturn’s rings through a high-powered telescope – it was a mind-blowing (mind-blowing – cực kỳ ấn tượng, làm choáng ngợp – extremely impressive or overwhelming) experience.
That short course opened the door to (mở ra cơ hội – created an opportunity) a new universe for me, quite literally.
2. Have you ever learnt about outer space and stars?
Absolutely, I used to be obsessed with space documentaries (space documentaries – phim tài liệu về không gian), which taught me a lot about the cosmic landscape (cosmic landscape – khung cảnh vũ trụ – the appearance and features of the universe).
I vividly remember watching a film about the Hubble Telescope that showcased galaxies millions of light years away.
These documentaries were not only eye-opening (eye-opening – mở mang tầm mắt – surprising in a good way) but also helped me improve my knowledge of physics and the universe.
Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on (bị cuốn hút vào – addicted to or very interested in something) anything related to the cosmos.
3. Do you want to travel in outer space?
Without a doubt, I’d jump at the chance to go on a space voyage (space voyage – chuyến du hành vũ trụ – a journey through outer space), even if it’s just a short orbital trip.
Floating in zero gravity and seeing Earth from above would be the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime experience (trải nghiệm có một không hai – a rare and unforgettable event).
Although it’s still a pipe dream (pipe dream – giấc mơ viển vông – an unrealistic hope), space tourism is becoming more feasible thanks to private companies.
If I ever got the opportunity, I’d grab it with both hands, no questions asked.
4. What would you do if you had an opportunity?
If I were given the opportunity, I’d love to participate in a space simulation program (space simulation program – chương trình mô phỏng không gian – a training program that imitates space conditions).
It would help me understand what astronauts go through before launch and build up mental resilience (mental resilience – sức chịu đựng tinh thần – the ability to stay strong under pressure).>> tham khảo CẦN VIẾT & THU ÂM BAO NHIÊU BÀI ĐỂ ĐẠT 8.0 SPEAKING & 7.0 WRITING?
Such programs are intense but rewarding, and I’m eager to test my limits in an unfamiliar setting.
It’s not just about the thrill; it’s about pushing the envelope (vượt giới hạn – trying something new or beyond the usual limits).
5. Are you interested in films about outer space and stars?
Definitely, I’m a sci-fi film junkie (sci-fi film junkie – người nghiện phim khoa học viễn tưởng – someone addicted to science fiction movies), especially when the movies depict space travel or alien civilizations.
My all-time favorite is Interstellar because it combines scientific theory with emotional depth.
The plot, visuals, and soundtrack all blew me away (blow sb away – làm ai đó rất ấn tượng – to impress someone greatly).
These films not only entertain me but also make me ponder the mysteries of the universe (mysteries of the universe – những điều bí ẩn của vũ trụ – unknown facts about outer space).
6. Is it important to study stars?
Yes, studying stars is crucial for understanding both our planet and the wider universe.
By analyzing starlight, scientists can uncover the origins of galaxies (origins of galaxies – nguồn gốc của các thiên hà – how galaxies formed and evolved).
It also helps in predicting events like solar flares, which can impact satellite systems on Earth.
In a broader sense, decoding the night sky (giải mã bầu trời đêm – understanding patterns and meanings in the stars) can lead to innovations in science and technology.
7. Do you make a list for your work? Does it work?
Yes, I rely heavily on to-do lists (to-do list – danh sách việc cần làm – a written plan of tasks) to organize my daily workload.
It’s a great way to stay on top of things (kiểm soát mọi thứ – to manage responsibilities efficiently) and avoid forgetting important tasks.
I usually break down big projects into smaller tasks, which makes everything feel more manageable and less overwhelming.
Without my lists, I’d probably be a scatterbrained mess (scatterbrained mess – người hay quên, rối rắm – someone who forgets things easily or is disorganized).
