II. Bài mẫu IELTS Speaking Part 1 chủ đề Names
Is it difficult for you to remember people's names?
Not really, because I tend to have a good memory for names (khả năng ghi nhớ tên tốt), especially when I have just met someone. I usually associate their name with (liên kết tên của họ với) a distinctive feature, such as their appearance or personality, which makes it easier to commit it to memory (ghi nhớ lâu dài). For example, if someone has a particularly striking appearance (ngoại hình nổi bật), I can normally remember their name after just one introduction.
How do you remember people's names?
I normally make a mental note of (ghi nhớ trong đầu) someone's name and try to use it naturally during our conversation. This reinforcement technique (kỹ thuật củng cố) helps me put a name to a face (nhớ ra tên của một người khi nhìn thấy họ) rather than simply hearing the name once and forgetting it. For instance, if I meet a new classmate called Anna, I might say, “Nice to meet you, Anna,” a couple of times to make the name stick in my mind (khắc sâu vào trí nhớ).
How do you feel when people can't remember your name?
I feel slightly disappointed when someone fails to recall (không nhớ ra) my name, particularly if we have already met several times. That said, I try not to take it personally (coi đó là vấn đề cá nhân) because people can be overwhelmed by information overload (quá tải thông tin) and may simply have a poor memory for names. For example, if a colleague calls me by the wrong name, I would just correct them politely and brush it off (bỏ qua, không để bụng).
Do you often forget people's names?
Yes, occasionally, especially when I meet several new people in a short period of time. I can struggle to retain (gặp khó khăn trong việc ghi nhớ) unfamiliar names because my attention is often divided between remembering the person and following the conversation. For example, at a large social gathering, I might remember someone's face perfectly but draw a blank (hoàn toàn không nhớ ra) when I try to recall their name.>> 🔥 Nhắn zalo 0905834420 join group zalo Hóng đề thi máy 4 skills để cập nhật đề thi thật 4 kĩ năng hằng ngày [Kèm giải & đề làm online]
